The 7th TC304 Forum on Georisk Assessment and Management: Advanced Numerical Methods and Machine Learning was successfully held on March 26, 2026. The forum was organized by ISSMGE Technical Committee 304 and co-chaired by Ceccato Francesca (University of Padova) and Meng Lu (Tongji University).
The event featured two sessions with presentations covering material point method simulations of natural hazards, debris flow risk-informed infrastructure planning, AI-driven risk assessment in deep excavations, and deep learning approaches for predicting slope failure and bearing capacity.
